While Watching Jeopardy!'s Tournament Of Champions, You Can Play Along And Support Those With Pancreatic Cancer

This week, as the game show's tournament reaches its finals, the contestants have organized a charitable endeavour to help people like Alex Trebek who are fighting Pancreatic Cancer. November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month. They're also honouring Larry Martin, a 2018 Jeopardy! Teachers Tournament champion who died of the disease earlier this year.

Viewers at home are encouraged by the players to donate for every correct answer they get right on November 14th and 15th. Donations can be made to the  Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.

In June, James Holzhauer, a name recognizable to any long-time and recent Jeopardy! fan, donated $1109.14 (a nod to his daughter's birthday) to the Lustgarten Foundation's Naperville Walk.  — to the Lustgarten Foundation’s Naperville Walk. On the donation website he wrote, "For Alex Trebek and all the other survivors." Holzhauer will be in the finals later this week.

Earlier this month, teen Jeopardy winner Avi Gupta donated $10,000 of his prize money to the Knight Cancer Institute at Oregon Health & Science University in honor of Trebek.
