Jordin Tootoo (of Nunavut), the first Inuk player to join the National Hockey League, made a young fan's day after a game on Wednesday night. The boy called out to Tootoo after a Griffins game (Tootoo had played for the Detroit Red Wings earlier in the season but was sent down to the Griffins, the Wing's American Hockey League affiliate) and not only got a hello and a high five back but also Tootoo's stick. Tootoo, 31, is a 12-year veteran of the NHL.
