Canadians To Root For At The US Open
The Open starts tomorrow, but first was the qualifying tournament this past week in Queens. The only Canadian to survive was Milos Raonic, who defeated No. 8 David Guez of France. He'll be playing in tomorrow morning's first round against Australian Carsten Ball. Also playing tomorrow is Rebecca Marino, who will face Russian Ksenia Pervak. Yesterday, on the last day of play, two Canadians were eliminated. In the womens, No. 25 seed Stephanie Dubois lost to Irina Falconi. In the mens, Frank Dancevic lost to No. 24 Kei Nishikori.
