but what a week in Canada Land. History was made last Sunday on the ice and what a reversal for Team Canada from the Sunday before. The nation had been devastated by the early round loss to the US. But then Canada went on to win four games in six days. It was a truly amazing victory that was witnessed by 27.6 millions viewers, the largest hockey audience since the 1980 gold-medal game. That win gave Canada its 14th gold medal, the most of any country at this year's games. This was especially sweet after Canada had come up empty-handed in gold medals as host city in Calgary and Montreal. This is a new Canada for the 21st century!
