Kiefer Sutherland, who seems not to have learned his lesson from his stay in jail last year and is making a bid for 2009's Mental of the Year, has been charged with assault. The actor turned himself into authorities at the 1st Precinct in New York on Thursday. The charge of third-degree assault stems from his head-butting on Tuesday of fashion designer Jack McCollough at a Manhattan nightclub. He will be arraigned on June 22nd. It is not yet clear whether this latest incident will be deemed a violation of his probation for his 2007 DUI conviction.

And if you haven't caught State of Play in theatres for the last month, you're missing Rachel McAdams' return to the screen after nearly two years (minus two small films).
Finally, sad news for tokers and those who like the feel of print on their hands: "Cannabis Culture", a Canadian magazine for marijuana activists, is going online only.
