On Boxing Day, an unidentified flying object appeared over Prince Edward Island, home to beloved literary classic Anne of Green Gables (Alien of Green Gables, if you will - wish I could take credit for that one). Tony Quigley, a P.E.I. farmer, videotaped with his wife, Marie, the strange sighting.
"When we first saw it, it was going so slow. We said, is it a meteorite, or what the heck is it? So when we did start to tape, it was above the cloud and that's the part we missed," said Marie Quigley. "When it came out of the cloud, we have it from there until it's out of sight. [it] was at least a half an hour from the time we first spotted it till it went out of sight."
The RCMP, Environment Canada and Transportation Safety Board have all thus far been unable to pinpoint what was falling from the sky.
