A Bumpy Ride, But A Happy Ending
This morning, Air Canada passengers had a scare when their airbus hit turbulence (the plane rolled from side to side, then plunged) during a cross-country flight and had to make an emergency landing in Calgary. The jet was flying from Victoria, B.C. to Toronto, carrying 83 passengers and 5 crew members. The plane is believed to have suffered computer failure, forcing the pilots to fly manually. None of the injuries were life threating, but 11 people were hospitalized.
