Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the elementary school children at West Royal Elementary in P.E.I. have been unable to sign along with the national anthem, which is played every morning. It started with a Remembrance Day event for Grade 5 and expanded to the rest of the student body. Now the kids also use sign language to sign Happy Birthday to their classmates.
Watching the Grade 2 students sign in their masks and touques will be the best thing you have seen in quite a while!
