It turns out there's a whole history behind that sweet treat Nanaimo Bars

For those unfamiliar, a Nanaimo Bar is a three-layer no-bake dessert that got its name from the city of Nanaimo in British Columbia. The bar is such a readily identifiable mainstay of Canadian cuisine that Tim Horton got in on the love, creating a filled doughnut with all the flavours of the bar Canada's sesquicentennial in 2017.

Looks delicious, if unhealthy

Of course it's unhealthy! That's the point. It IS very sweet so you wouldn't eat that much anyway.
