Canadian Air Traffic Controllers Give A Lift To Their American Counterparts Going Without Pay Under The Shutdown

On Friday, Canadian Air Traffic Controllers in Gander and Moncton, did a solid by ordering nearly three dozen pizzas for their American counterparts in Long Island. According to Doug Church, deputy director of public affairs for the Natioanl Air Traffic Controllers Assocation (NATCA) in the US, there are presently 14,000 controllers showing up for work and not getting their salaries.

Since Friday, Canadian outfits have sent pizzas to 35 units across the border.
