Leave It To Canada To Keep It Realz At Christmas

When 7-year-old London Ontario kid Homer Mellen wrote a letter to Santa, he kept it simple, asking for a "box of paint, a school bag" and of less importance, "...if you have any nuts, or candy, or toys to spare, would you kindly send me some." Written nearly 100  years ago by Mellen, the letter, which had been kept by his family, was recently shared by his relatives with GoodMorningAmerica.com. It shows a far different, less materialistic sensibility than today with children asking for a long list of expensive items totaling hundreds if not thousands of dollars.
