A Slip Of The Tongue Sparks Some Mock Outrage

Last Wednesday, before a game between the Winnipeg Jets and the Islanders, the anthem singer replaced a lyric from O Canada with one from American the Beautiful. The singer, Jill Shackner, was supposed to "We stand on guard for thee" and instead "God shed his grace on thee" came out. But Winnipeg got its in your face moment in the end when they beat the Islanders.
