Flooding Kills Three in Calgary And Forces The Evacuation of 75,000
Southern Alberta is on high alert after flood waters reached dangerously
high levels. In addition to the three dead, residents of downtown
Calgary from 25 different neighbourhoods, were ordered to shelters and
higher ground. At the stadium for the Calgary Flames, the water reached
the 10th row. PM Stephen Harper, a Calgary resident, said the "magnitude
is just extraordinary."
