Stewart will be taking time off this summer to direct his first movie, Rosewater, an adaptation he penned of the 2011 book Then They Came for Me: A Family’s Story of Love, Captivity and Survival by Bahari and Aimee Molloy. Bahari, a Newsweek staffer who spent 118 days in an Iranian prison in 2009, had been accused of plotting to overthrow the government following the airing of a sketch he participated in with the Daily Show's correspondent Jason Jones, who pretended to be a spy.
