Croonin' Canadian-Style

A video of a group of talented silver foxes breaking out a tune at a Tim Hortons in Ontario earlier this month is going viral, having already achieved nearly a million hits on youtube. Known as The Entertainers, the singers were recently enjoying a beverage and treated customers to Elton John's Can You Feel the Love Tonight in four-part harmony. The Entertainers are 35 strong and belong to the Oakville chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. They get together every Monday night to practice and afterward enjoy the Tim Hortons brew, often having an impromptu concert.

"It’s not scripted," according to Jack Smye, one of the tunesmiths. "It's a long-standing tradition. Halfway through our coffee, we sing."
