A Company Looking To Get You To Use Less Plastic In Your Lives

Abeego Designs has created a new line of natural, handcrafted and compostable storage wraps and sheets (made of hemp and cotton) for food. Co-founded by Canadian Toni Desrosiers, who started her green pursuit by experimenting with beeswax a few years ago, found that the breathability of beeswax makes it very suitable for maintaining freshness. Tree resin is used for the adhesive component, and the material, when touched, bends easily. You can use the wrap for a sandwich or mold a sheet onto a bowl and it will preserve the contents when refrigerated.  The product can be hand washed, thereby cutting down on plastic that isn't environmentally-friendly.
