Happy Canada Day!

It's our 144th birthday today!

If you're here in NY, you can get the party started early and keep on going late into the night:

Head to Canada Cabin (aka Windfall Bar - 23 West 39th St; windfallnyc.com). They'll be serving lunch starting at 11:30am and you can start boozing it up at 3:00pm. You can enjoy Canadian food and beers.

Continue the Canuck party at Joe’s Pub, which celebrates the Great Canadian Songbook (425 Lafayette St; 6:30, 9pm; $25). As Joe's puts it, From Cohen to Cockburn, Joni to Gino, Lightfoot to Lighthouse, Rufus to Raffi, Burton to Bryan, Nelly to Neil, you never know whose songs you might hear.
