No, Jeff Foxworthy has not become a citizen, fortunately. However, thousands of Americans are now eligible, courtesy of a new law. Last week, an amendment to Canada's Citizenship Act was passed and it restores status to persons forced to renounce when they became citizens of another country. Their children will now also benefit.
