Oasis Singer Noel Gallagher Accosted At Toronto's V Fest

Last night, while onstage performing "Morning Glory" for 40,000 fans, Gallagher, 41, was rushed by a man running from the back of the stage. The singer, his guitar strapped on, crashed hard into the nearby speakers. Gallagher's brother Liam tried to punch the assailant but missed and all three left the stage. The brothers returned to finish the set and then Noel was taken to hospital and treated for a suspected rib fracture and ligament damage.

The band is on tour promoting their upcoming album Dig Out Your Soul. It's unclear whether they will perform in London, Ontario tomorrow night.
