Mon Dieu!

Direct from that special plane of reality known as Quebec, the word "weathervane" is now on the legislature's no fly list. Apparently, when parliament would get down and dirty, weathervane was used to slag opponents. In fact, Premier Jean Charest, accusing Opposition Leader Mario Dumont of changing direction on a dime, had used it repeatedly against him. Charest opened a can of whupass when he took it up a notch and called Dumont a "national weathervane" during Tuesday's legislative session.

If you're keeping count, the premier is leading a minority government with 48 seats, compared with 41 for Action democratique due Quebec (ADQ) and 36 for the Parti Quebecois (PQ).

Perhaps Dumont should give Bill "flip flop" Clinton a call.
