It was a good week to be an RCMP. On Thursday, Mountie Stephane Gagnon, fresh out of the academy, tackled and arrested U.S. fugitive killer Richard McNair after an attempted traffic stop and 400 metres foot chase in Campbellton, New Brunswick. Mc Nair is a three-time escapee and was #15 on the country's most wanted list. Serving a life sentence for murder, he had been lamming it since April 2006.
